Indie author writing messy stories with heart, humour, and just a little chaos.
Roxanne grew up in a small, sleepy village in the North of the UK. She’s been obsessed with reading and writing stories for as long as she can remember. After studying Creative Arts at university, and more than a few dead end jobs, she swapped village life for the bright city lights of Tokyo, where she now lives. When not writing she can usually be found singing at karaoke, waving penlights at glittery J-pop idols, or curled up with a book and her cats Trouble, Scamp, and Valentina.Roxanne’s debut novel Thirst Impressions was written entirely on her phone. An affectionate reimagining of Pride and Prejudice; a story about fandom, friendship, and the stories we tell about people we’ll never meet.
